6 round granny square.

Classic granny square pattern.

what you will need.

I have used drops Paris cotton, 5mm hook and a tapestry needle to sew in my ends.

 

Stitches

ch- chain stitch

tr- triple stitch

ss- slip stitch

 

Lets start

 

Round 1- ch2, into 2ch from hook, crochet 3tr, ch2, 3tr, ch2, 3tr, ch2, 3tr, ch2, you should have 4 sets of 3tr and 4 ch2 spaces, join with ss in first tr made.

 

Round 2- Change colour, ch3 into any ch2 space, 2tr, ch2, 3tr into same ch2 space, ch1, 3tr, ch2, 3tr into next ch2 space, ch1, 3tr, 2ch, 3tr into next ch2 space, ch1, 3tr, ch2, 3tr into next ch2 space, ch1 join with ss into top of first ch3.

 

Round 3- Change colour, ch3 into any ch2 corner space, 2tr, ch2, 3tr into same space, ch1, 3tr into ch1 of previous round, ch1, 3tr, 2ch, 3tr into next ch2 corner space, ch1, 3tr into next ch1 space from previous round, ch1, continue pattern to end of round, join with ss.

 

Round 4- Change colour, ch3 into any ch2 corner space, 2tr, 2ch, 3tr into same space, ch1, 3tr into next ch1 space, ch1, 3tr into next ch1 space, ch1, 3tr, ch2, 3tr into next ch2 space, ch1, continue pattern to end of round, join with ss.

 

Continue this pattern on each round if you want to make a larger granny square or granny square blanket.
